September 1, 2011 (Thurs) (12-2pm) “Meet and Greet” for all TR Students

September 2, 2011 (Fri) (12-2pm) “Meet and Greet” for all MWF Students

September 6 (Tues) “First Day Family Orientation” for all TR Classes (9-10am for morning classes and 12-1pm for afternoon classes)

September 7 (Wed) “First Day Family Orientation” for all MWF Classes, including MW Little Learners, F Little Learners, and all KinderStart sessions. (9-10am for morning classes and 12-1pm for afternoon classes)

October 10 (Mon) - PRESCHOOL CLOSED

Oct 27 & 28 (Thurs and Fri) - Classroom Fall Harvest Parties

November 15, 2011 (Tues)– 6pm Small Eats and Raffle Treats Fundraiser Event

November 23-25 (Wed-Fri) - PRESCHOOL CLOSED (HAPPY THANKSGIVING)

December 2 and December 3 (Fri and Sat)- Craft Fair and Vendor Open House (Tentative)

December 14 (Wed)- Winter Program for all MWF Classes, including all KinderStart, MW Little Learners, and MWF PM Smart Start (Tentative Times 10:00am/1:00pm)

December 15 & 16 (Thurs & Fri)- Classroom Winter Parties

December 19 (Mon) – January 2- PRESCHOOL CLOSED (WINTER BREAK)

January 3, 2012 (Tues) - Preschool Resumes from Winter Break

January 16, 2012 (Mon) - PRESCHOOL CLOSED

February 13&14 (Mon and Tues)- Classroom Valentine’s Parties

February 17 (Fri) and Feb 20 (Mon) - PRESCHOOL CLOSED

March 14 & 15 (Wed and Thurs)- Parent-Teacher Conferences (NO CLASSES IN SESSION)

Mar 30 (Fri) - April 6 (Fri)- PRESCHOOL CLOSED (SPRING BREAK)

April 9 (Mon)- Preschool Resumes from Spring Break

April 28 (Sat) (9am-2pm) AGSP Annual Consignment Sale Fundraiser

May 3 (Thurs)- Spring Program for all TR Classes (Tentative Times 10:00am/1:00pm)

May 7 & 8 (Mon and Tues)- Field Day!

May 18 (Fri) End of Year Program and Graduation for all Preschool Plus, all KinderStart Classes, and Friday only Little Learners (Tentative Times 10am/1pm)

May 24 (Thurs) - Last Day of School Celebration Carnival for TR Classes

May 25 (Fri) - Last Day of School Celebration Carnival for MWF Classes, including MW Little Learners, F Little Learners, and all KinderStart classes

☺A Great Start Preschool follows the Centerville City Schools calendar as a guideline for holidays, vacations, and school closings due to inclement weather. In case of inclement weather, if Centerville City Schools operates on a two hour delay, please watch to see if there are any changes for our morning classes, such as a delay or cancellation. If Centerville City Schools close due to inclement weather, A Great Start Preschool will also close. Watch WHIO Channel 7 or call the preschool office at 312-1621 on days of inclement weather for our decision. The Preschool Director has final say for any school closings.

☺There are no discounts granted for absences, vacations, holidays and breaks, or school closings due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Tuition rates have been set with the consideration of these closings as well as closings for conferences and a limited number of special events.

☺ Classroom Party Volunteer Sign-up sheets will be posted in the fall, and updated as needed. Sorry, siblings may not attend parties, but are invited to participate in our End of Year Celebration Carnival!
